Going to Primark is like going to war… shopping war.
Or that’s how I think about it. There’s always long waiting lines and some of the racks; especially the racks with the discounted items on, are messy.

I asked myself the question: “Why do I even go there?”
but the discounted prices speaks for itself.

I don’t go to Primark for luxury, but if I look hard enough, I do tend to find some decent clothing pieces.

Here’s what I’ve found.

(Ps: I’m 5 months and 2 weeks pregnant 😀 )

The coat:

I love the color of the coat. I love the cuffs and the belt around the waist. The coat looks pretty decent when you wear it, but I don’t love the fabric. It gets wrinkly quite easily, and the buckles on the coat are made out of plastic. But for the price of €20, I think it’s a decent item.

I liked the grey version

Michael kors.png

I saw a similar bag from Michael Kors a couple of years ago and didn’t end up getting it. when I went into Primark and saw this lovely bag, I was delighted. At €10 this bag is a steal. It is structed and sturdy. The bag’s quality is better then some of the bags I saw at Zara.

Nude heels:

Given that I’m pregnant, I avoid heels as much as possible. I circled around these heels for quite some time before trying them on. I’m so happy I did because it’s so comfortable (something I thought impossible given there’s only one transparent strap in front) but the block heel makes it so comfortable and easy to walk in.

Grey crop top and leggings:

I’m a creature of comfort… or rather I’m becoming one more and more. I love the crop top. I like the fleece on the inside of the top because even though it’s Springtime, it’s still a bit chilly.Copy of @chantaldegeus (3).png

One of the only reasons I go to Primark mainly is because of their leggings. My husband bought me a pair of leggings at Primark and I couldn’t believe the quality and the price! Both were incredible. So ever since then, I’ve made it a point to go to Primark to get some decent leggings. Of course, you’ll have to look through the entire sports section to find good leggings, but I promise it’s worth it.

The orange bag:

Since I basically only wear white, pinky nudes and greys, I thought this bright colourfull bag would be the perfect way to incorporate some color into my wardrobe. The bag is good quality, the embroidery is well done and it is a beautiful structured bag.

Read about the nail polish down below

I got this palette for €10. In my mind, there is no beating that. The colors are so beautiful, the shades are Roze quartz colors. The quality? It gets the job done. I will be using this palette until there’s no color left; before I move on to the next palette in a year or two.

Nude nail polish:

I’ve been very nude for this haul, but I love the pink nude trend that’s been going around for a while now. I’ve loved pink since a child, hopping from shade to shade when I grew older, but never really stopped loving pink. And now I’m loving nude pink. This nail polish gets the job done. I love that it’s so minimal. I don’t have to think about what I’m wearing because it will never clash with the clothes I have on.

For those of you who would like to see the clothes in detail, please check out the video here. And let me know that you are from the blog 😀

What do you think of this Primark haul? How is your Primark?

Zara haul, pregnancy edition :D

The baby bump has arrived, Spring has arrived… what a wonderful time to be alive!

The flowers started to bloom around Rotterdam in the most gorgeous colors: pinks, whites & greens. I couldn’t help but take inspiration from nature and incorporated the colors into my haul.

So here’s my pregnancy haul.

Well… perhaps not pregnancy per se. I don’t intend on buying maternity clothes, wearing it for the 3+months left and never wearing it again. That’s why I decided to buy clothes that will fit me during pregnancy and after pregnancy.

Today’s haul is from Zara, I hope you like it!

Green cropped jacket:

Even though it’s Spring, the weather is still a bit chilly on some days, so I picked this beautiful cropped jacket. I love that it’s cropped because I can throw it over a nice sundress and still be able to show off a lot of the dress and not be chilly. The color also fits in well with the season.

The brown set:

Top: Elegant button details, soft texture, and sheen fabric.

Pants: 2 pockets & 1 pocket on the lower  left side.

I first saw celebrities wearing what appears to be pajama sets outdoors, then Instagrammers and now the common folk. I thought I might as well try it out since it’s perfect now that I’m pregnant. However, I would probably style it with some heels and a cropped jacket when I go outside. Otherwise, you run the risk of people legitimately thinking you went on a date in your pajamas.

White balloon sleeve top: (Sold out)

This top has three things I love: balloon sleeves, 3/4 sleeves and it’s cropped. Ever since the bump has arrived, I’ve become a pro- cropped top person. I find that it shows the bump off well. I like that the top is cropped but still elegant. The little button details are also very beautiful.
